“After being cooped up with Covid lockdowns and my fitness program at the gym shuttered, I agreed to start walking every week day with my daughter. We made the commitment to start walking our dogs at 6 am every weekday morning so she could start work on time. Initially, we started walking in our neighborhood and worked up to 2 mile walks. 

We just finished week 20 and now walk 3 miles a day—we visit a nearby park or we go to the ocean and to let our dogs run. So many incredible moments started happening and I could see the beauty around me started capturing images inspired by nature. The light, nature’s patterns—it’s a living canvas right before my eyes! It cleared the cobwebs in my brain. I shared our commitment with my sister who also felt inspired to start walking and she joined in too. Even though she walks in South Carolina, she stays mindful of us as she walks too. Every second brings a new image and inspiration. It opens my eyes to new possibilities!”
